How much does an AC repair cost?

It depends on the issue. A diagnostic visit is affordable and we'll give you a written estimate before any work starts. Simple repairs (capacitor, contactor, refrigerant top-off) typically run between $150 and $450. Bigger jobs (compressor, evaporator coil) cost more and we always discuss options with you first — including whether repair or replacement makes more sense long-term.

How fast can you get here?

If you call us before noon during business hours, we do everything we can to send a technician the same day. For non-emergencies and scheduled work, we usually book within 24–48 hours.

Do you actually fix it, or do you just sell new units?

We fix what can be fixed. We only recommend replacement when the unit is past its useful life or when repair costs more than 50% of a new equivalent. You always have the final say.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold active HVAC licenses in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation. Documentation available on request.

What if the repair fails after you leave?

Every repair we make is backed by a 12-month workmanship warranty. If what we touched fails within 12 months, we come back and fix it at no charge.
